Bing WidgetThe free Bing widget is now available on Ovi store. You’ll recall that this is Microsoft’s next-gen answer to Google’s main search site. Offering Web, Mobile web, News, Images and Videos, the tabbed interface gives you results almost instantly, since content is cached for each tab/data type.

The widget is compatible with all S60 3rd Edition (provided Web runtime is in the firmware) and S60 5th Edition phones. The Nokia 5800 and N97 users can download the latest version of Java Runtime for their mobiles.

Get Certificate for Mobile: No need to hack

Posted on 03. Jul, 2009 by geek in Symbian

how to get cert freeHacking is done if you don’t have the certificate and in that case you cant install the unsigned applications and games in your mobile because they give the “Certificate Error” message when you try to install them on your mobile.

Another reason of hacking is to install the ngage games on your mobile without paying a penny.

However if you get the certificate for your mobile, you can sign any app or game and install on your mobile without any error. I have already mentioned a website from where you can get free certificates for your mobile within 24 hours (HoT News: Get Your Cert. Easily…No Hack). Here I want to share another site from where you can get the certificate if the above mentioned site is not working.

First Anti-virus for Symbian S60v5 Mobiles by F-Secure

Posted on 18. Feb, 2009 by geek in News

antivirus f-secureF-Secure is all proud to announce that they are the first anti-virus company to support Nokia ’s new touch-enabled platform, S60 5th Edition. Even though there’s nothing special that could happen to you if you use your Symbian-powered smartphone carefully (i.e. read the screen alerts before actually pressing a button), some people prefer extra protection. And F-Secure is there to help with the latest version of its F-Secure Mobile Security 5.

From the press release:

F-Secure Mobile Security 5 enables smartphone users to experience the full potential of their devices without the fear of mobile threats. F-Secure Mobile Security introduces combined real-time antivirus functionality with a firewall, antitheft and antispyware for S60 5th and 3rd Edition smartphones. F-Secure Mobile Security 5 introduces new features, including a totally redesigned user interface and advanced anti-theft features with remote lock, remote wipe and theft control functionalities.

Interested? Again I argue that you don’t need a malware protection on your Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, (why I don’t need any antivirus for S60v3 and S60v5 mobiles, click to read) , but if you insist you could grab F-Secure Mobile Security 5 through F-Secure eStore.
