Many friends ask me (esp Prashant) about installing the ngage on symbian mobiles via hacking them to play the ngage games. I have tried these methods on my mobiles but I cant assure you that they will work on your mobile.

You can try these methods at your own risk, as in this method you will have to hack your mobile which can lead to loss of warranty claim etc.

Installing the N-gage on Your OS9.2 mobiles:

First of all hack your mobile (OS9.1 or OS9.2) according to this tutorial. For tutorial to hack click here or you can try the HelloOx method for hacking your mobile.

1. Install the NGage Installer if you don’t already have it and run the Ngage app once and close it. Download the Ngage installer from here or from ngage site.

2. Download and extract your desired game to e: n-gage/ folder on your memory card.

3. Run the Ngage app again and it’ll begin installing.

4. Once installed it’ll show as trial, just install the Patch once to get rid of that for all games. Download the patch from here.

Installing the N-gage on Your OS9.1 mobiles:

First of all hack your mobile (OS9.1 or OS9.2) according to this tutorial. For tutorial to hack click here or you can try the HelloOx method for hacking your mobile.

1. Download and install the Ngage installer from here or from ngage site , it may say Symbian OS PIPS couldnt be found or something, just let the installation finish.

2. Then install the Patch.

3. Download Symbian Os Pips v1.02.sis and install.

4. Turn file access on as you learnt is hacking tutorial.

5. Download 20001079.zip and copy the 20001079.txt to c: private/ 10202be9/

6. Download and extract your desired game to e: n-gage/ folder on your memory card.

7. Run the Ngage app again and the game will begin installing.
