Font Changer is a new control panel applications that lets you to change the fonts on nokia N900. You can use any type of fonts with this app. Moreover, font changer creates backups of your starting font settings and if you uninstall the app, the original fonts are restored. This little application also works with almost all themes.

Here comes another update for Netbooks which are running on MeeGo operating system. MeeGo 1.0 was released on May 25th but it contains a lot of bugs. In this new meego 1.0.1 version over 100 bugs are fixed and it is recommended for all users to install it as soon as possible for better performance.

Last month i.e., in May a stable version MeeGo 1.0 was released espcially for Netbooks and developers to develop the games and apps etc. Though Nokia is not going to release a full scale commercial version of MeeGo for N900, but we are looking forward for an abridged version. Here we have got the future release plans of upcoming MeeGo 1.1.

We were anticipating it and finally new stable version of MeeGo v1.0 has been released for netbooks and Nokia N900. Basically this release is meant for developers and netbooks. But Nokia has already made it clear that they are not going to release a full scale commercial upgrade for N900.

In the beginning of this month a PR 1.2 was released by some guys which was not officially announced. Today a official release of new maemo verion 1.2 is being rolled out for Nokia N900 in UK. The rest of world will receive the update tomorrow Wednesday, May 26.

A public release of new firmware for Nokia N900 (maemo) has been leaked by a Chinese website. When the link to this firmware was posted on maemo forums, it was considered unauthentic but soon the experienced users tested it and it was found to be a real thing.

After the collaboration between Nokia and Intel, Maemo platform by Nokia is being replaced with MeeGo. An early beta version of MeeGo for Nokia N900 has already been launched and soon a stable release will be out for many devices including mobiles.
