Ovi Store has got the first location based game, Ovi Maps Racing, for only limited time. If you are a gamer, don’t miss this chance.

I hope it is going to be my favourite game after Polarbit Armageddon Squadron. With this game the players can navigate and access their location and they can create tracks too.

This games uses NAVTEQ and the GPS technology of the mobile device to create the tracks outside your physical location. Ovi Maps Racing is available for download in Ovi Store for all Nokia touch screen devices based on Symbian^1, such as the Nokia N97 mini and the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition.

Users can also play the game in offline mode and they can customize all their tracks.

“We had a chance to create a completely new type of mobile game with Nokia, which utilizes real life maps” says Tero Virtala, CEO of RedLynx. “As with previous titles developed for Nokia, Ovi Maps Racing has really allowed us to augment our knowledge pool.”
