New N97 Firmware 21.0.045 (RM-505) & 21.2.045 (RM-507) is Coming ! (Update: Released)

N97 firmware

There are reports that Nokia is going to release has released another firmware version 21.0.045 (RM-505) & 21.2.045 (RM-507) on 1st February. According to the reports there is nothing new in this firmware except bug fixes and some improvements. What will be new in this version is:

  • Improved call reliability
  • Smooth touch screen scrolling
  • Browser improvements
  • Music player improvements
  • Improved image and video stability

(Update 01/02/2010): The changelog is same as described above. And there is nothing new, according to official changelog, except what we have already told you.

And there is no need to repeat the whole procedure that how you can update your device as we have already discussed it many times.

Currently two types of version are being released i.e., 21.0.045 (RM-505) and 21.2.045 (RM-507) depending on region. The firmwares will be available through Nokia Software Updater by 08:00 GMT. The release for N97 China 2G (RM-506) will follow shortly.
