Nokia Image Exchange Updated: Activity Notification Added

Nokia betalabs has announced an updated version (0.98) of Nokia Image Exchange. With Nokia Image Exchange one can share his/her videos with his friends and family members, and he can also comment on others images. You can browse your pictures from PC and download them as well.

The important features/improvements in this new version are:

  • Accelerometer support for 3.2 devices
  • Notification if any of your friends upload a new image or your friends leave a comment on your images.
  • Different types of settings to control these notifications
  • New load balancing architecture
  • Many bug fixes

This app is still not available for touch mobiles like N97 and 5800, but they say that it will be available in next release hopefully.

Nokia Image Exchange is now also available through Ovi Store but that is still an old version and it does not include these new changes and improvements. However you can download the updated version of this application for s60v3 mobiles from here.
